I fall on both sides of the fence here while i agree 100% that you need to have multiple players competing to protect the consumer. Dirtvision lost me when they started making particular woo races pay per view while advertising heavily on every broadcast that you'll get every woo race included with your annual or monthly subscription. Flo has pay per view events such as the world 100 but subscribers don't have to pay additional fees

      Ray Cooks 3 series
      SLMR

I would love to see some kind of combo package of regional series.

I highly doubt it’s anything close to what the OP makes it sound but if there was anything to it, I’d sure hope not. Less competition is only good for the people running whatever interest it is. Always bad for consumers. Even if it doesn’t seem like it at first…

I would welcome this, Flo puts on a better production.

If Flo gets it all, then every series can have a goofy points championship like Lucas Oil does now.

A move like this would further expand the divide between the haves & have nots. That divide has been increasing at an exponential rate on the late model side in recent years. Only 1 win on Lucas & WoO combined by a true non national guy in Dylan Knowles at Talladega in 2024. Madden at Charlotte at end could sort of count since he was "semi retired" by then. Maybe it's my fading memory but it sure seems 10 to 15 years ago there were a lot more nights where the regional stars were running up front & winning a few times a year. That seems to be a very rare occurence these days. A big dollar single tour would just widen that gap & probably end up with a 30 to 40 car group that were national guys with the rest picking up scraps. Kind of the nascarization of dirt late models.

In the Saturday PRI live blog on DoD, EPJ won the Swims Award at the Lucas Banquet and apparently stated that he visited Forest Lucas recently and he isn’t doing well. We could see in the near future where Lucas gets out of the series ownership game for someone else to absorb.

probably good for spectators, flo doesnt care about racers tho unless youre in a 410 or super so hopefully not. Competition is good

My question is where in the heck did this “so called news” come from?
To me if Flo was thinking about buying a National Late Model series (of the 2)
it would be Lucas Oil since they already have a working relationship and the fact of Forest Lucas’s age/health.

Ump national points??? They pay out for a lot of divisions.
