Ocala isn't my favorite place, mainly because the racing isn't great. Track shape is most of the problem. 5 nights at that place is a bit much. As far as the facility goes, its decent. I'd take East Bay and Volusia over Ocala every time. The pavement track down the road at New Smyrna is worth checking out.

FWIW: I will take Ocala’s facility any day over East Bay.
i am not referring to the racing but the facility itself.

          Flat Tire,

I'm glad someone else recognizes the great racing at New Smyrna Speedway. Every year we go to New Smyrna on Wed of NASCAR week to see the John Blewett 76 tour modified race. Talk about high speed, wheel to wheel, side by side, hair standing NASCAR modified racing action. Those modifieds drive DEEP into the corner, with amazing braking. You don't see that kind of close action at Volusia.
