Not an updated chasis. Jimmy built this car without a jig and it’s similar to a Bloomquist front and Rocket rear.
Heck he didn’t even have an old Bloomquist chasis to update.
Brucebuilt fabricated some components as to Jimmies specifications.

he has a jig and has been working on this for several years now , he has applied his knowledge from working with several chassis over the years and used what he thinks best fits him , but with that said , there is no magic , unique tricks left , there all pretty much cookie cutter chassis now ....JMO ...

Yes and remember during his modified dats he had and built for others the “Loose Gruff” chassis.
So this isn’t his first time at fabricating chassis.
I personally think his best years were in the Bloomquist Chasis. They were built to drive straight and not sideways which suits his driving style. Those cars were much more rigid and Scott always said that if you were sideways-you weren’t going forward.
but technology has changed since then. The cars now have alot more flexibility in them now-but they don’t last near as long as the ones Scott built. He built them all based on his driving style and they didn’t work fir everyone.

Not exactly sure/ but it’s a little old school different from the rocket set -ups.
but it is kinda a Bloomquist/Rocket hybrid- with his modifications-if that makes any sense.

If I remember correctly his modifieds were built by others. Maybe Barry Wright? Not saying he didn't originally start building them, but when they were produced to sell it was through one of the smaller chassis builders.

He left Goddard Performance (Warrior) and went to work for Scott when Bloomquist started his own brand then he started Brucebuilt in partnership with Smithbuilt
homes in Knoxville.

im not sure the only reason i know that is because some guys we used to race with had 4 or 5 of the lg2 and they were built at 2 different places

It was called the, "SA-5" or Swing-Arm 2005. Warrior was originally a Rayburn dealer and then started building a, "cleaned up" Rayburn which was the original Warrior(Mono-leafs/coils). They had one on display at the World of Wheels show in Atlanta back in the day. There has always been a healthy amount of cross pollination in the DLM world, makes it cool in my book.
