Doesn't Davenport still switch between Cornett and Clements depending on the track(s)? His site lists both as sponsors.

Clements does seem to build a very solid piece and with so many customers on the tours it could be assumed that they come to the events well prepared and offer good support which probably helps drive more customer traffic their way.

Most nights it seems if you aren't 49 or 20RT you are a veritable also ran. The top level of the sport is beyond stale at the moment in terms of who goes to victory lane or has even a decent shot of doing so. Just pulled up 2015 Lucas races at East Bay. Winners were: Carrier, Pearson, JD, Erb Jr, Moyer Sr, Richards, Carrier, Moyer Sr. 2 repeat winners & 6 winners in 8 races. It might take til July for Lucas to hit 6 winners this year.

He does. Even though his wins this year were with a Clements, he had like 4 or 5 2nd place finishes with the Cornett before switching it out for a refresh. Not much difference.
