Tracks trying to reopen in 2025. Is there you'd like to see reopen?

So far in the last few months though different pages on Facebook I've see a few tracks trying to reopen.

NEW TRACK BEING BUILT
127 Speedway - Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.....

All I have see so far is it’s an all brand new facility in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Intersection of 127 and Bluegrass Parkway. 3/8 mile replica of Lucas Oil Speedway. Track & walls are visible on Apple Maps app. That’s about all that is completed.


Track that was supposed to open and never did was what was supposed to be the new Daisy Speedway in Georgia.

Seems like the theme is while some may close others could reopen or be trying to reopen.

Good stuff Hoosier. One thing I noticed over the last few years is that a few tracks that did reopen such as WVMS and Bloomsburg, Pa all struggled and shut down again. Kind of sad.

It is. I absolutely hate seeing tracks close, but I'm grateful when new tracks open or old ones reopen.

It was cool to see WVMS comeback, but that place is just doomed with its size.

U.S. 36 Raceway Osborn mo. best track in the state, such a shame they dont run midgets, sprints, lm's , usmts there.

Modoc Speedway (Little river speedway) has supposedly been trying to reopen for a couple of years now. They even put down the gray gumbo dirt.

I’d heard Daisy Speedway ran into issues with the local government.

Buffalo Speedway in SC is also close to re-opening.

Not dirt but I wish Greenville-Pickens Speedway could find a buyer and open back up. Afraid the final nail in the coffin has hit for that joint though.

Wasn't nicest in most people's eye's probably but I liked union county. Tighter corners with room and fast straights. Only been couple times for old ALMS shows but thought raced well. Definitely needed lighting in pits though and exiting track. Curious see what they run and maybe check out again

They should definitely get a steel block show as that area would be good location/ draw

Work being done at Westminster Speedway in South Carolina for Possible reopening.
