Mike Marlar makes switch to Infinity Race Cars.
    Look at the spoiler.

Could this help Infinity build their Chassis building operations and get more driver to come aboard and leave Rocket & Longhorn if Mike does well in his new Infinity cars?

Perhaps a deal he could not refuse... Mikey has run well in many cars and this team has made chassis switches many times prior to Marlar taking the seat. I don't know what the lead time is on a LH, but maybe that effected their switch. Best of luck, I'm sure Marlar and friends will do well. To Infinity and beyond...

I told a friend awhile back I'd like to see this driver/chassis pairing. I think it's a good fit for both parties.

I imagine Marlar will do well in this car. He is, after all, a top shelf driver, IMO.

The big thing that stands out to me is marlar has always been his own crew cheif and setup guy. I feel like he used to have a very good relationship with some of the best sources of information in the Buisness. When he first started switching chassis any time someone wouldn't build a new one fast enough for him. Their was a particular shock company that was the same through the various chassis manufacturers. At some point that went away and now he's fast for awhile when hes got the latest and greatest but then he seems to get lost and struggle to find his way as setups evolve again. I wouldn't say he's burned bridges but it seems to me people know he's only loyal to his own self interest. As we all know it's the people around you that make you successful. Bottom line if a guy knows you might run off to the next best competitor next week he's not likely to give you his best stuff. Or he's not likely to pass Somthing new they've found to you as soon as he may to others
