It's not my money, but I don't understand why the car needs to be run if the kid isn't driving it. I don't believe there's some large sponsor obligation or something.

He didn't have the greatest debut at LaSalle. Honestly if they were just going to stay on the MARS tour, they should have just given Rich Bell more races in their second car like they did towards the end of last year. He was pretty good for them, especially at the Dome, and I felt like Daniel improved with him being part of the team. What they're doing now just flat out handed the ride over to McKinney and now McCowan. Hopefully it works out for them.
I’ve been thinking the same thing. It would be cool to see Rich in that car with a little more backing then his family car has. The only thing I can think of is if Rich turned it down with his family business and a young family at home!

Maybe they just like racing and want to be a part of it, same as every other car owner out their. A lot, and I mean a lot of drivers are fortunate enough to have someone foot most if not all of the bill. Props to the guys who fund their own stuff, expensive sport and I also appreciate those that want to be a part of it but do not drive (or have family drive).

He was in that car at LaSalle a couple weeks ago also.
