It was really a good show. The Thursday rainout soaked the track and it was bad fast on Friday. Multiple cars went under the old track record in qualifying.

Not enough good things can be said about the management and staff at MTS. They really keep improving that place and something else is always new and improved every time I go back. They do an awesome job on track prep and keep the program moving along efficiently. It was dang cold on Friday and they didn't waste any time keeping the fans there any longer than they wanted or needed to be. Even on Saturday with a pretty near packed house there was no reason to milk things out. They respect the racers with delivering a good track and they respect their fans as well.

People can rant over whether to start features straight up or have a redraw with the heat winners. The Saturday feature was a very good race and one of the reasons for that was the redraw. You actually go to witness some lead changes and racing (although the pole winner won on Friday). I'll still take my chances with the redraw.
