Interesting. I'm curious how Shane McDowell Racing played a part?

Maybe a car being built for future...? Jeep was the original Bloomquist "Protege'".

Cool to see him back in the game a bit. Always seemed like a good guy & was a real good racer. Had a fun encounter with him years ago in the pits at Jacksonville (the year he & Babb were playing bumper cars on summer nationals). My youngest son (maybe 7 or so at the time) asked Jeep why he spun out Shannon Babb.

By the end of the conversation Jeep had given him enough free spider tattoos & other trinkets that he changed the story to Babb spun out Jeep.

That sound like a Jeep story. I’ve heard a few like that.

After you mentioned that, I remember seeing them together at KY Lake when it first opened...late 90's I think? So I could see a connection with McDowell.

Do they still have the fire protection company too?

Believe Bayline Fire Protection was sold to Summit Companies in 2018.
