Did they ever say why pierce got his spot back in the heat. I’m at track and never heard a reason. It was on lap1 but appeared to just be a 1 car spin.

40b started up front, went straight backwards and dnf'ed. 20rt got up to 11th, 19r was around 14th. babb 18 had 2 bad laps and lost 5 positions but looked better

LM heat 2 was crazy! Terbo look like a sprinter doing a wheelie down the front stretch. 32 got a couple of freebies thrown his way... That McKinney fellow was using a lot of the track as well.

It was odd since it just ended as a 1 car spin. Admittedly not a 32 fan but I didn't see the whole incident. It appeared from the bleachers that he just looped it off of turn 2. Was kinda shocked he got his spot back.

Bobby definitely got help but it was that strange deal we're seeing more and more of lately where Terbo's door panel caught Bobby's right rear quarter. Its not like he just plowed through him with his nose. Saw the same thing happen to Devin at Hagerstown a couple weeks ago when Satterlee's door panel grabbed his right rear in a heat race.

As for Bobby not having to go to the tail, I didn't understand that one as well. The rule book states: "On the original start and before one (1) complete lap is scored, if only one car is involved in a caution and stops on the track, that car will restart from the rear."

Maybe that only applies to the feature?

With these twisted bodies the right rear is really getting stuck out quite a bit further; car has wider stance and more target area...
