    Single Car Spin

I could be wrong, but when there is a single car spin on the start, doesn't that driver start at the back on the restart? I know if there are multiple cars stopped, then it's a complete restart and everyone gets their spot back.

    2.3 Cautions
    A.) Caution on First Lap
i.) Once the green flag drops, the race is officially underway. On the original start and before one (1)
complete lap is scored, if only one car is involved in a caution and stops on the track, that car will
restart from the rear. If more than one (1) car is involved in a caution before one (1) lap is scored, all
cars involved in the caution that came to a stop will receive their original starting positions, provided
there are no penalties to be assessed and involved cars do not go to the cold or hot pit area. Any car
who pits after the field has been assembled on-track must go to the tail.

Then how and the he!! did Bobby Pierce get his spot back in his heat race last night at Spoon River when he spun and was the only car stopped and caused the caution. These series are starting to make rules on the fly and have different rules for different drivers. Brutal

Some of the regional series do not have this as a rule. The national series do. I don't know if that rule is for the feature only or for heats as well. Maybe Kelley or someone else will see this and respond.

I wonder the same. I was there & there was nothing said audibly (or if there was it couldn't be heard). Sure looked like he just spun on his own. He may have been pinched down by Terbo or something but it was a 1 car spin. Was very surprised he didn't go to the tail.

You really think Pierce is going to catch a call in Illinois at a race promoted by Flo themselves?
