The fans at Golden Isles maybe won't have to stand by the burn barrels in the corners to stay warm. It always looks frigid from that track.Comment

Coldest races i have been to in my 62 years of going to races ( I am 68) were at Golden Isles.
A couple of years ago it was 26 when the races were over and we had heated everything on.
if it’s so cold you are wanting the event to hurry and be over: that’s not entertainment. After all- that’s why we go is to be entertained and enjoy the show.
The World Finals at Charlotte can also be brutal Cold.Comment

The drivers and the fans were wanting this. Kudos for them listening and doing something about it. Now that Golden Isle is in March, I may have to make a trip down there.
The flip side is WoO doesn't need to go to Volusia twice. If you're thinking of running for WoO points, your offseason gets interrupted. Not to mention other people have filled the void. If racers want to race, there still is only one month of an off-season. But no one is making them race unless they're following one of these series.Comment

ell said. WOO should do away with the early Volusia show the week after the Wild West Shoot Out.
The drivers will still complain about to much racing: but like you said -nobody is making them go. And if they follow a series- it’s by their choice. Many do it for a living so don’t complain about having to much work!
