Fatal Scott Bloomquist plane crash in Hawkins County ruled a suicide

Reading over all these posts reminds me how polarizing Scott Bloomquist was...and still is. Whether you're a fan or a hater, everyone will surely concede that no can ever stir DLM fan's emotions like Bloomer, and I think it's safe to say no one ever will (at least to the degree Scott does). Like with Earnhardt, I suspect Scott's legacy will only grow over the years and most of the bad things will be forgotten any many more of the good things he did will come out. I was not a fan or a hater but was entertained by him. This sport will go on but he will be missed.

EDIT: Without knowing too much about their situations, I'd be willing to bet Bobby and JD do a lot more work when it comes to setup etc.

Ricky hasn't had a true "crew chief" since he left SSI. I think results of the guys his old crew chief has helped since then to tell you, that you are wrong.

I have a hard time believing he wouldn't of flown full speed into that barn instead of rolling into it if he was trying to kill himself. The last line of the report said the NTSB didn't even go to the scene of the accident. IMO labeling a suicide is easy and they probably weren't too happy with a guy flying his own plane around unlicensed. IMO he was probably (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ed up and crashed accidentally.

He sent out 2 text just before he got into the plane stating his intentions. Plus 3 eye witnesses. There were some other things that morning that he did to make sure the plane would be totally engulfed in fire when it crashed.
There was no need for the NTSB to visit the site.

The top speed of his plane was 87mph and the cruising speed was 75mph.

I've got it figured out since the toxicology report was released. That old plane was flown with a stick. Bloomer was full of Viagra. When headed towards the barn, he planned to pull up but when he reached down to grab the stick, he grabbed the wrong stick! Blame his death on Viagra.

The NTSB may not have been at the scene, but it appears as though the FAA was beings the photos were supplied by them.

Some people just don't want to believe it could happened in this way. I'm not saying nothing against those who don't believe it. Having my best friend, another friend and his son all committing suicide. I didn't want to believe it but, it was true and I had to come to the realization it was true..

His edge was gone long before his life ended. His racing efforts were a mess. Nobody was was crippled by psy ops.

Nobody was defeated by his unpreparedness, drug test dodging, or chaos.
