I went to bed at 11pm EST. All I ever saw was qualifying yet I saw a 6 heats from Husets.

The sooner dirt tracks do away with qualifying all together won't be too soon! It proves nothing wastes time, blows away the track. Hot lap, pill draw, race! The world has changed, people don't wanna sit thru all that anymore. Promoters wonder why people won't show....last night Pevely was a great example.

Maybe do like F1 and just open the track for a given amount of time, make as many attempts or as few as you like. Come in, adjust, get back in line and go again, but once time runs out, that's it. 3 car max on track at a given time, 2 lap limit, then come in. Or since we use transponders these days, why not just have practice and your best time in practice is your time...?

when the broadcast started they had the wheel packer out there and it was kicking up dust lolololol.....i knew then the night was fubar. we have had a lot of rain in Missouri and i'm sure the track was soft. they had big piles of dirt inside the track next to the concrete that i'm sure they scraped off b4 friday afternoon. that track had to be farmed. it would have destroyed multiple tires otherwise. Hopefully today they put the dirt back on the track from the infield, tore it up good, watered & packed it in. I55 when wet is great, when dry is not good at all.

I was going to make the 4 1/2 hour drive today but after staying up for the finish of the LM race past 12:00 central last night i will just watch on DV. Hopefully they will do a better job of track prep today.

Been this way for the last few weeks. Even the best of tra KS has struggled for sn. Hard to bring new fans in when they can't even start on time. You go to concert or baseball or football they all start when advertised.

First and foremost when the world of outlaws come to my tracks I have very little control they make the decisions how many and what classes prices times track prep how the classes are run now that being said let’s talk about modifieds most of them not happy and you shouldn't be but you are the guys that support me weekly remember i did not make any of those decisions so keep that in mind today while track bashing about prices times and conditions our next night of racing at I-55 is July 5 all modified drivers that attended this week will get a free pit pass no charge at the pit gate July 5 (only)and it will pay 1500 to win you will get to run a full event

Now let’s talk about the track and please note I have all the respect in the world for Steve Francis World of Outlaws director what they wanted done with the track was the right decision under normal circumstances we don't have that right now we have had lots of rain the track is full of water me and my crew knew this they didn't understand
we prepared Friday and intentionally sealed it off in hot laps so it wouldn't get rough, and we did what they wanted Saturday, and it turned out bad! again, Steve had no way of knowing what we knew, and it affected us all 

As always, we will fix our problems and move on to the next race my apologies go out to everyone.

Classes that hot lap/qualify should be exactly that. Hot laps with like 8 or 10 on the track at a time like normal hot laps. Get em spread out a bit and throw the green. Give em 3 laps. 3 at a time for 3 laps each seems to take forever. Just doing that would have saved probably 20 minutes last night.

my preference would be no quald for the support classes but this was a show where all classes were part of a series that qualifies.
