He’s a head case because he doesn’t like traveling? That’s a new one.

Head case may not be the right wording, but he signed up for it

Moran or Alberson or Thornton or ONeal all would have been better choices than the current pilot.

Doesn't like the touring , but probably needs the money from it. Didn't he just build a new house a couple of years ago and now marriage and a child. All of that isn't cheap.

              I see that too!

You can write big checks and pair all the precieved best people in the sport together and if the chemistry or communication isn't their its just not gonna be successful and it's nobody's fault many times. This can be seen at every level of motorsports but imho it's the toughest in dirt latemodel racing. Some teams click some don't. On a personal note Overton has never done great in these types of situations. not meaning he's the problem. the situation just doesn't fit his style and the drivers mindset and comfort matter as much or more than any other one thing. As a big Overton fan I'll be glad when he makes his money and moves on to another situation that makes him happy witch is undoubtedly one that puts him home more and in control of where when and how he races
This was why I was stunned when BO left Wells, they let him choose everything about his team except the car, engines, shocks, springs, help, etc and it worked beautifully. I don't know what the situation is with Riggs or who actually calls the shots, but the magic hasn't shown up like it did with Wells... Why did he leave Wells anyway, does anyone know?

i said hes a headcase, that is a separate issue from not being a grinder imo.

LOL oh yeah...no question. He's the 10th ranked driver on the latest DoD poll. Much better choice.

I don't know why he left wells. I would of liked to see him stay if the arrangement was not gonna change. That being said maybe wells wanted him to go in a different direction to help with the development of the new chassis. Hard to say... also hard to pass up certain opportunities no different than mccreadie going to rocket1. It's easy to call it a bad move now but it could've just as easily went the other way and Timmy could be on a record run right now you just never know in this sport.

Yes, lets make all our life decisions based on polls... Not. I would argue Terbo may be the best in a Rocket currently and I did NOT like him for a long time, but he has matured massively since bulldozing Boobie. Having said that I don't think him moving to Riggs/LH Factory would've worked any better. I think the problem is organizational and won't be fixed, IMV. "Too many chefs" as it were, with too many ideas on what direction to go and most likely end up with an "A la Carte" setup. As to BO being a head case, I have no idea what that is based on, but he is a massive talent when he's allowed to do his thing. I actually think following a tour is stupid.

Was actually just messn' with ya... But now that you say Terbo is a top 10 DoD racer... He's running the same races as Feger lately... Not sure how far they go back to talley the votes for top 10, but Feger is listed 17th... Feger is racing Nightly too on the Hell Tour so you'd think hed get love... And on through the list Terbo is "Best"in quite a few big names that you'd even say are dam good racers.. Buuut you Can't stand Terbo so......... Again just "clowning" around, I dont see him leaving the Brock Best team anytime soon....

Another reason is no one in the Longhorn building has a %%%%ing clue how to make a Racecar fast. Rumley designed a great car in 2015, and they’ve been basically producing the same exact car since. A lot of the top runners, Pierce, rtj, Davenport, etc have dialed them in to their driving style. But every experimental longhorn they’ve made has been slower. Steve arpin couldn’t design or fabricate a bracket much less a faster Racecar.. only thing he’s good at is hitting the “increase price” button and sneaking into the corner of victory lane pics

If that's true, the chickens will come home to roost soon enough. Time & Technology keeps marching on and there are many boutique builders chomping at their heels.
