Seriously though, those 3 WoO wins were tied for fourth or fifth on the tour with Madden, who ran 17 races. I like B-Shep, but he was gifted that title.
I'd say it more about consistency and top 5's that won the championship.

also true Pennsboro. He ran 2nd to Pierce a lot.

He did have more top 10s than Pierce. Not sure how that happened.

It would appear this stuff is harder than people think 🤔

And that's racing in his own backyard. I thought sure they'd break out a win over the weekend. Their are some serious problems with that team.

I was at Needmore all I saw was Burroughs and overton, no other crew members.

My question is, are they running a standard car or is this an R&D chassis?

It was mentioned one time that the factory car, or house car, was to be an experimental car. To me, that would mean they are always fooling with the car. Some drivers could handle those changes better than others

The same is said about the Rumley car. I guess they need/want 2 experimental cars.

What's crazy is in their tuning suggestions they say to raise/lower the J-bar and/or move the 5th coil for certain things. I was told nobody does that anymore. Interesting.

Not sure who told you that but definitely usable adjustments. I do know a couple of teams who say the 'locktite the j-bar' but overall most do what they need to do when they are off.

The problem with the jbar is it has polar opposite effects when on the gas or off the gas so moving it tends to help one area but effect another to much and upsets the balance to much to be a good at the track adjustment most of the time. Basically if your in the ball park generally moving the j bar knocks you out more than it helps.
