Well based on last night, we can just assume we know the top 3 on Saturday night just not the order. Everyone else running for best in class.

While those top 3 are definitely the faves, I wouldn't count out Sheppard, ONeal, or maybe Hoffman or Moran. A lot can happen in 100 laps.
Maybe Feger. He was one of the fastest cars on the track the last 10 laps.

We are massively overdue for a guy like Feger, Unzicker or some other regional guy to win one of these big money sanctioned races. Seems it's been forever since that happened. Babb at the first WoO sanctioned PDC is last one that comes to my mind (at least in the midwest). That kind of stuff used to happen a little more often. Actually he also won the Topless 100 in 2015. Maybe Pierce was still a "regional" guy when he won the Jackson 100 in like 2018.

That would be nice to see someone like Feger win or any regional driver for that matter. But the gap between the top 4-5 cars and the rest of the field just keeps getting further and further.

Moran is taking the weekend off.

                          I'm surprised.

Per a Facebook photo: Add Bob Gardner setting up a pop-up tent in a neighbor's yard and selling t-shirts! Wonder if he's got any creative shirts.
