Wasn't Steve Francis going to save Late Model Racing a few years ago? He hasn't done nothing that he said he would do, just playing in the dunk tank at Deer Creek Speedway.

Lucas and WoO think it’s all good. Lucas only had 26 cars for $25k to win last night in Ohio. Fewer and fewer cars every year.

Biggest thing would be to take some of the aero dependency out of the cars. How you do that is the big question.

The only thing that will sadly change in 2026 is the cost going up more.

I agree with a previous poster about Steve Francis. I had high hopes in him helping the sport get some things under control but it appears he’s just turned out to be a “yes” man that’s just milking a check. He was a whiner about the cost of racing when he had his own team and cited the high costs of racing as one of the main reasons he shut his team down. He’s been in a position at Lucas and WoO to to help the sport and hasn’t.
