🏁 A New Era for Super Late Models in the Southeast: The American Racer Super Late Models Tour 🏁

A bold new chapter is being written for dirt track racing in the Southeast. The American Racer Super Late Models series is proud to announce its arrival—a new regional tour that will bring fierce competition and fresh opportunity across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia.

Rooted in a racer-first mentality, this series will offer simple, stable rules—mirroring the structure of the Southern All Stars rulebook, with light adaptations to promote regional parity. Racers from across the Carolinas and beyond will now have a consistent, affordable platform to showcase their talent on some of the best dirt tracks in the country.

But the biggest change? Tires.

This series will proudly run exclusively on American Racer Tires - Pro2 and Pro3 compounds only. No grooving. No siping. No chemical treatment. We’re keeping it real, fair, and untouched. It’s all about horsepower, chassis setup, and driver skill—not tire prep voodoo.

“This will be a new deal for NC, SC, VA, and GA, built by racers for racers,” said a representative from the new tour. “We believe in affordable competition, simple rules, and tracks that treat racers with respect. And we believe the tire game has gotten out of hand. American Racer gives us a path forward.”

Expect a mix of bullrings and high-speed ovals, with an emphasis on grassroots fan engagement and fair purses. Regional heroes and hungry young guns alike will now have a level playing field to battle for wins, glory, and respect.

Full schedule, tech rules, and purse structure will be announced in the coming weeks. Early interest from both tracks and drivers has been overwhelming.

There are a few that I'm surprised made it into this year. We'll see about next year.

Maybe run 603 crate engine with oil shocks, topless and a wing on top. That way we could start the night with 602's, winged topless 603's , 604's, wedge cars, 525's, limited's, and the finally would be Supers. 7 classes, all 'late model's.
