Amazing. People must have lots of discretionary spending money to consider opening up a track closed for 15 years.

A friend of mine who sponsored many racers once told me: How do you make a million dollars in racing? Start with two. This track fits that category. Maybe they should check with Pennsboro.

My wuestion is: just because these pictires have been released- where is the story/news article of a “possible” reopening?

I get that it will take some cash to get this place back up to functioning but the bones are there. The biggest cost will be upgrading the current "infrastructures" to make the facilities comparable to the top notch facilities. The track surface already looks raceable so thats a big feat right there without having to haul in dirt right away. Instead of being negative or bashing someone for reopening a once defunct track, it should be applauded for someone trying.

This is the third track in the area that is looking to re-open (Friendship, 311, and Oak Level). We go from one small track (Ararat) to 4 tracks in a manner of weeks- hope it works for all involved.
