Personally I think a puzzy move would have been letting him pull the Erb block (purposely) and then racing him with respect. The guy pulled a move that he, himself gets mad about when it happens to him.

Sorry to hear you want a puzzified sport. I didn't see a problem with what either of them did. If JD would have wrecked him I wouldn't have been on here dogging him for it, but make no mistake, he did what he could to wreck him without risking a good finish himself. It's not my money on the line and I don't watch dirt racing to see pavement style racing.

You are making assumptions about motivation. We can't see that. We can see that he let him go. A DNF really wouldn't hurt 49 much in the big picture. He has an adequate lead for the format.

Honestly, he'd be best served at this point to start taking huge risks to pad his win total, for the bonus points at the reset for the "Chase"

You saw that he 'let him go' I saw that he 'tried and failed' with what he attempted. I don't have to 'SEE' that racecar drivers don't want to tear up their own equipment and not finish well to know that's the mindset they have.
Regardless, nobody got wrecked and both finished on the podium. I appreciate both for keeping me entertained.
