    Cade Dillard vs Garett Alberson

Dillard called Alberson an idiot. Looks like to me he could have lifted. Who’s the idiot?

Pretty clear to me. Perfect pass by Garrett and Dillard ran into his left and never attempted to turn left or even lift. He wrecked him on purpose. Saying Garrett caused that wreck is completely laughable (except it isn’t funny what could have happened). If Lucas had any clue they would tell him to pack it up and come back when he can control his anger.

Lift? I would have settled for not appearing to mash it to the firewall while driving through him.

It didn't look like 58 pulled a dirty slider (at first) because he initially appeared to have cleared the 97, but then he did lose a little momentum which made it look less clean. 97 had no intention of slowing up or crossing up on the move. That was heat seeking missile mode and the interview kinda backed it up.

Political correctness,...is the inability to speak the truth about the obvious.

For those of you that have never raced at Batesville. When you come off of the bottom of turn two and slide your car all the way to the top, which Alberson did, you kill your momentum and speed greatly, Dillard was already running the top so he was carrying a lot more speed than Alberson so he had two choices, either run under the back of Albersons car up to the air cleaner or try to turn down underneath him. He had started turning down when the contact was made. I’m an Alberson fan but Dillard is right he does tear up his stuff and other peoples stuff up on a regular basis.

If I was Dillard's car owner, I would throw his clothes out of the hauler and tell him he was fired and to find his own way home. So I guess you know who I think was at fault.

You nailed it. We can debate all night on who's at fault but Dillard never lifted until he was looking straight up at the sky. It was like he wanted to put Alberson through the backstretch wall. Very lucky this wasn't far worse.

                Clearly Dillards fault.

Obviously Dillard's the idiot. On the other hand however, like the stupid moves Bobby pulls there are still people who well deny the fact.

When now reading the post incident comments from those involved just remember one thing about human nature.

Rationalization is the second strongest human urge.

Thanks professor. I'll help everyone relate rationalization to dirt track racing.

Rationalization refers to the process of explaining or justifying one's behavior, actions, beliefs, or decisions, especially when these are irrational or controversial. It involves ascribing one's actions to causes that seem reasonable but are often unrelated to the true, possibly unconscious reasons. Essentially, rationalization makes certain behaviors appear more acceptable or attractive than they might actually be.

Dillard made it sound like Alberson drives over everyone which I haven't seen in a tour race. He deserved the black flag for that. F*ck him.

Dillard could have lifted or used the brake, just plain drove over the 58, no need to wreck 2 good cars.

Dillard has had a rough year I am sure some of his frustration stems from that. With that being said with the video evidence and the comments he made Lucas officials should park him for the weekend. Can't be using your car as a weapon.

Didn't Jack Sullivan tbone Dillard under a red flag years ago and roll him over?
