    44 is fast

44 Smokey is really fast in that Kale Green car. 5th at Cedar Lake with a World 100 type feature lineup and 2nd at a very underrated Topless that needs to be pushed back into the discussion for biggies. They get overshadowed because of that 3 week stretch but what a crowd and very good racing overall. Glad to see Mooney find his energy. Great event. Back to the point…I think it’s 44’s year at the World 100.

No chance. As long as someone gives him good equipment and he’s on top of his game, he’ll keep trying. If he wins it this year maybe but even then probably not.

I have a problem with track surface that eats that many tires.

How do you know it was the surface at fault? Why couldn't it be the tires at fault?

I forgot what year it was when they held the big ceremony for him and gave him plaque. What a waste of time and effort that was 🤣

I'm a Moyer guy, and always have been.

Hoosier sure got richer on that race.

I met Kale Green by chance on Friday standing on the wall watching hotlaps. Seemed like a good dude. Batesville has always been hard on tires, but these new compounds Hoosier put out this year were not up to the task at all, especially as juiced up as it was. Based on some conversations I overheard, they are softer and rubber the track up easier, so tracks have to be wetter, and it becomes a vicious cycle. But hey, at least it didn't lock down at the Topless. I'll take it!
