    Forrest Lucas

With his announced passing in the last 30 minutes, will be interesting to see how the company’s presence in motorsports changes. Morgan has been running things but ya never know going forward now.

I look to see Flo purchase the reins of Lucas Oil Racing Series.

I think FLO will also get the Lucas Oil Series and this will put a big slam on Dirtvision. I myself find the races better on FLO as they have more of the best tracks there.

I feel like Lucas has been wanting their name off of the banner now for a couple years, as they have been basically dropping their name off of anything motorsports related. It seems the stars are lining up for FLO to take over with Kubota as a sponsor. It appears the HTF boys will be able to get a ride on tour, which will help get HTF where they want to be, and Kubota out there on a car on the national scene.

I know nothing. This is just what it looks like is coming to me.

Big loss to the this sport and to oil industry included.

            Condolences to the family.

I think we should all offer prayers and condolences to the family before immediately thinking about the future of Lucas Oil. Forrest was an amazing businessman and a very compassionate caring person. He supported many charities in the Indianapolis area in different ways. Rest in peace.

Yes indeed. Many condolences to the family and friends of Forrest Lucas and many blessings to him in his passing. Thank you Mr Lucas to giving back in so many ways, not just to racing, but for so many other things.

Whatever happens I hope the new owners do away with the playoff format. This year is interesting enough and if JD or RTJ don't end up with it, well that's just stupid. Again.
