I would like to see something done about the unnecessary cautions that have become more numerous over the last few years. No flat and bring out the yellow- put them down a lap or park them; to many times a driver (and frequently you already know who it will be) is about to be lapped and they stop on the track. Want an adjustment, while I'll just stop on the track so I can use the event as a 'test' session. Venting, but just when the leader gets into lapped traffic and the race may actually produce some drama-poof! it is caution time.

It would be fairly simple to fix. If you have a flat and bring out a caution, you are only allowed to change the flat tire. No one can come pit during the caution unless they get a flat or need attention (damage that needs attention, tear offs, etc). At no time are any chassis adjustments allowed, what you leave the pits with at the start is what you have. It’s hard to curb the lap down yellows and prove they did it on purpose. I think cutting down on the tire changes and no chassis adjustments would cut the yellows down.Comment

Totally agree. These national series allow drivers to just stop to make an adjustment. Sucks. Make em race till a caution. Let's see how many cars stop on the track tonight at the Southern 500 to get a caution for an adjustment.Comment
