Road to Eldora

It was a very short road it was this year. It felt like it was losing steam on the third year, but (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) it really went flat this time around.

The one with Delmas Conley and Chuck Greenslate (announcer from PRP)from Southern showed the ones we all know from FLO, don't have to be there to make a interesting video. It just sucks see what a really interesting side of the sport that most of us don't get to see, get lost in whatever else is going on.

I agree, I liked every single one of the road to Eldora videos. The ones with Bloomquist and Marlar were my favorites.

Definitely agree with everyone. The Road to Eldora videos were so well done. They covered a wide range of topics from different areas. Does seem like FLO / Dirt on Dirt could produce more with all their income, especially with the biggest dirt race in the world. More content means more subscribers.

You get access to so many sports all year round plus the LOLM series for one cheap yearly payment. If there are any issues with streaming you can email them and get an answer immediately. It's better than Dirtvision by a country mile

DV customer service is just as responsive. i dont watch anything besides racing on there and theyve dropped alot of sanctions from the broadcast the last few years. I liked Lucas oil tv better

Ever since the merge with Flo. We’ve gotten less late model in depth content. It is what it is but I miss the DirtonDirt prime years.

I'll start out by saying I think Flo does a great job covering dirt racing. The yearly price is very reasonable. I used to spend significantly more on pay per views during Dirt on Dirt's prime years than it would cost me to get Flo, Dirt Vision and HTF combined these days. That said, I miss the old DoD during the peak years. You didn't get to see full races very often and you had to pay thru the nose for them, but it was nice having video of the heats and feature from virtually every race from the weekend available to watch on Sunday morning. I felt much more connected to what was going on simply being able to see everything in one place. And the pay per views, although expensive, felt like a can't miss event.

I've never been a fan of Rigsby and especially Suave's style of coverage. They've always been too blatantly biased to be considered journalism and the endless a$$ kissing of their favorites and overly emotional love for the sport is more like a pubescent girl's TikTok video gushing over a boi band than professional coverage. If the quality of Flo's Late Model coverage was as good as High Limit and USAC it would be amazing, but sadly it's still got too much of the hackneyed style and bias that made so much of DoD's coverage unwatchable.

I loved the Road to Eldora stuff. I think Ben Shelton did an amazing job the first couple of years. Not sure why it has lost some of it's magic. It just doesn't seem as inspired.

Funny you say that. Other than the Chili Bowl and the Tulsa Shootout, I really don’t have Flo for racing coverage per se. My Flo fix is Hockey and they cover my ECHL team which I additionally have home season tickets for — and those are not necessarily cheap. All of the hockey games that I want to see are on Flo, home and on the road. Then factor in all of the Highlimits races, USAC, and Lucas Oil —- my auto payment of $150 a year is a steal. I get more than my money's worth.

Its hard to create the Road to Eldora when you are posting selfies of flying first class to the next race. Just saying.

Like all good things before big money came in, it was good and fun while it lasted. We got to see the real Bloomer before he left us.
