essex is one of the best of all time, id really like to hear more of stephan too. Dustin tends to talk over essex alot i dont care for and i dont get the ruben hate, hes passionate about the sport

He is a little over the top on certain things IMO. I think his bromance with Bobby rubs some the wrong way also.

I only watched on Thursday night on Floracing but DJ has moments where he came off condescending and combative towards fans(and what I guess would be viewers too) where he talked down to people who said they liked the old Eldora format better. He was easily distracted during a few of the shootouts. And then he had to say something about people saying Streaming is killing racing. This is just all stuff he needs not to worry or say when calling a race. If he wants to argue with fans he could just join a message board or go to facebook.


Another issue is James was calling the race and it wasn't on screen and they were in a double box. I know some of this stuff happens but we are paying for the broadcast.

I agree that they often worry about what the fans say or think too much. There have been times they’ve made remarks about something that was said on either here or Facebook and made it bigger than what it was.

IMO they are all good, but since they have gone to Flo broadcasts, they have all seemed to become more carnival barker than PA announcer a lot of times. Also, the every race being an all time classic routing gets a bit tiresome. Not every race is really that good. And certainly Eldora has had its share of snoozers in recent years.

One thing I am thankful for is that they stopped reading "tweets". God there was a season or two where they didn't stop with reading every frickin' comment. I complained about it directly and was very happy when it finally stopped. Not sure if others complained, but my guess is that they did since it stopped. And maybe they heard us as well since the Saturday broadcast was excellent.

These clowns they got on now think their comedians. They laugh all the time, tell the same old jokes, and act very unprofessional. Reminds me of a bunch of kids when the adults leave the room they act like a bunch of fools.

Are you going to apply for their positions? Wanna be their director? Sounds like you can do better.

On a somewhat unrelated note, I thought Shelton and Weaver made a good team. I like the way Ben calls races and he did a really good job asking Randy questions to get him involved. The race was pretty good too.

Well the 2 clowns were back again tonight in the booth with the same old stupid comments and degrading people all night long for their views and opinions.

Totally agree about this weekend. Essex and Ben announcing and DJ pit reporting Friday night gave me hope that they’d made a change but it was back to normal last night. Nothing against DJ I just think Ben does a better job with Essex. I’ll admit though it could be worse!

I will say this about DJ. He does do an excellent job saying the invocation before the national anthem and I wouldn’t mind hearing him do it full time.

The salivating over a guy advancing 10 spots produced by 17 cars dropping out of the race gets old. Like peeing down my back and telling me it's raining. I watch a lot of racing among other series and these clowns get muted pretty consistently.
