    Tire testing

How does someone appeal a failed tire test and make sure the verdict is correct? Wouldn't you basically need three different tests done at three different labs multiplying the cost of the original by two? Do they just make the same lab test the same sample again?

I don't know if any series allows for an appeal. If they do, they'd probably go to a different lab and other samples would have to be taken at the same time as the original. The same lab will get the same results.

Some series do have an appeal process, usually have an outside source (other racers) review the results and offer recommendation to the series. The whole group will then meet with all involved and determine outcome.

The chemicals found in the test were pretty suspicious. That was a tire prep c0cktail, not some random fluids he drove through.
