Could we See Eldora get the UMP Fall Nationals back in 2026 and it be the weekend before the DTWC which will be at West Virginia Motor Speedway? I mean think about it WVMS has shown it can handle a huge crowd and car count and the way the DTWC is ran it really is just 2 classes a night. Eldora could host the UMP Fall Nationals and have a purse hike. Maybe work with Kokomo and Brownstown and Montpilier on dates.

Don't forget about Lincoln in IL. They currently host the DIRTcar Fall Nationals. Not the fall special races you list.Originally posted by latemodelman View PostCould we See Eldora get the UMP Fall Nationals back in 2026 and it be the weekend before the DTWC which will be at West Virginia Motor Speedway? The DIRTcar nationals need a serious purse adjustment if they want it to be relevant again. Did the Fall Nationals really do that bad attendance wise at Eldora back in the day?

When I went to the UMP Fall Nationals it was a Saturday and Sunday show. Pits opened at 9a.m. Grandstands opened at 11a.m.and hot laps started at 3:30p.m. on Saturday and you would see 160 to 180 modifieds and 65 to 80 Super Lates. You would hotlap and qualifiy and run heats on Saturday and get done around 11p.m. Sunday at 10a.m. all gates opened and at 1p.m. you would go right into States race of Champions, Chassis race of Champions and B-Mains and Features and were done at 5p.m. at latest. Had around 10,000 fans and loads in the pits. When they went to Friday and Saturday and cut the purses for Late Models attendance went to around 7,000 fans and 35 or so Super Lates but Modifieds stayed at around 110 or so.
