    DTWC Entries

Looks like with the 26 stock cars and 55 mods was told there is around 70 Steel Blocks and around 65 Lucas Oil Late Models.

Wonder who will be at the UMP Nationals? I know they pay what $2,000 to win and $300 to start?

Used to Pay back in 2002 to 2007 $10,000 to win and $800 to start and Mods were $3,000 to win and $400 to start and then it went to from 2008 to 2019 $5,000 to win and $500 to start and Mods $5,000 to win and $500 to start. Now this. Seems like WRG is hurting for money.

Pretty pathetic payout for a season ending Fall National event. Like carcountman said, this event used to be 10 g to win.

I true UMP Nationals should be held at Eldora and the DTWC should be held a week later at West Virginia Motor Speedway. I say run it Saturday and Sunday for the UMP Nationals. Pay Super Lates $20,000 to win and $1,500 to start and Modifieds $10,000 to win and $500 to start. Friday open pits at 3p.m. and have tech until 7p.m. Saturday open pits at 9a.m. tech from 10a.m. to 4p.m. Hotlaps and qualifying at 5p.m. followed by heats at say 7:30p.m. And Sunday open gates at 11a.m. and Consis start at 1p.m. followed by features done by 4:30p.m. Grandstands charge $40 for a 2 day ticket Pit Passes 2 day pit pass $50. Have no entry fees as a thank you for supporting WRG. Should get a nice field around 120 or so mods and 50 or so late models.

To be honest the DTWC will be great at WVMS. Should get a great field of cars might not get the Illinois or Northern Ohio and Indiana guys but more regional guys will be there.
