After looking at the video , I would say Max Blair made a brilliant move to try and get the lead in that heat race. Max hooked up really well and moved to the bottom of the track to try to get the lead. Max would have little chance to win by staying in the high grove. Terbo could have given Max just a little break and then follow Max to the front and try to pass Max at a later point in the race. Max does not deserve the blame he has received for the way he raced for the lead.

The great thing about choices is we all have them. Max could have not turned into Terbo (and I am on the 'not a Terbo fan' list), waited to until later in the race to take the lead as well. Two guys going for the same spot (which was in Terbo's lane by my view) and it didn't end well for either. Personally thought it was unnecessary for Terbo to just hammer and junk him (and others), but Blair did cause the issue in my opinion...
