Eldora is awesome but that’s great news. The DTWC shouldn’t be taking a back seat like it does now. The juice just isn’t there at Eldora for what you’d expect for an event of that caliber because of their other 2 mega shows.. It’ll definitely be there and then some next year based on what we saw last week. Will be considering travel to now. Haven’t been to one since Pennsboro.

I thought someone said on here awhile back that WV didn't have a track suitable for a "crown jewel"

it seems like the race is hyped up the most by west virginia folks. If it wasnt the lucas finale i dont think it would be a bigger deal than the topless or north south

From the video it looked like the hill at WVMS was packed and the new grandstands weren't. Anyone on here sit in the new grandstands for this event have any commentary on the view from these new stands?

I sat on the hillside. My buddies sat on the back stretch, they said the view was better than they expected. It later filled in nicely once the hillside was standing room only.

They made a mistake the way they positioned the track and half the hillside seating is outside of the track.

It’s really not a good facility at this point to host a huge crowd. That hillside is a huge waste of space. They could probably sit three times as many people on it if it was some kind of grandstands. Something needs to be done with the seating before this big of an event
