HUNT THE FRONT SUPER SERIES TOUR HEADS TO ELKINS SPEEDWAY FOR THE $10,000-TO-WIN RED FREDERICK MEMORIAL!
Elkins, WV — Elkins Speedway is set to host one of the most anticipated events in many years as the Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series invades the 'Mountain State' for the Red Frederick Memorial, paying $10,000 to win on what promises to be a can’t miss night of racing action, Friday May 22nd, 2026!
The nationally recognized 'Hunt The Front Tour' brings with it some of the top dirt late model teams from across the South, names that have become synonymous with high profile events throughout their base region. These southern stars will square off against the ultra-competitive Mid-Atlantic regional racers, creating a thrilling showdown under the lights at Elkins Speedway. Competitors like Jimmy Owens, Corey Hedgec0ck, Zack Mitchell, Dalton Cook, Josh Putnam, Sam Seawright, Luke Morey and many more.
“The R.H. Armstrong Memorial is already one of the most meaningful and respected events on our calendar,” said Mike Hurley, owner of Elkins Speedway. “To pair it with the Hunt The Front Tour and a $10,000 payday makes this one of the most prestigious races we’ve ever hosted. Fans can expect a packed pit area, elite talent, and some of the best racing the region will see.”
The event honors the lasting legacy of Red, a figure whose dedication to motorsports and community continues to inspire the Elkins Speedway family and fans alike. The expanded purse and national attention surrounding this year’s edition ensure that his memory will be celebrated with the intensity and passion he brought to the sport. The last Red Frederick Memorial was won by Jacob Hawkins in 2021!
Fans can expect a full evening of racing excitement, featuring Hunt The Front Super Late Models along with an action-packed undercard of local divisions.
