It's been 10 years since I've been to this track. It used to be quite rustic. How is it now?

AFTER Daytona Speedweeks, are there enough race fans in FL to support these series dates? I guess we'll find out. Had no idea Hendry County MP is all the way down by West Palm Beach.

I don't think either series was aware the Daytona 500 would be pushed back a weekend because of how the calendar falls.

The date of the Daytona 500 has not changed for 2026. It has been on the 3rd Sunday in February, which is the day before Presidents’ Day, every year since 2018. It was also on that same weekend every year from 1971 to 2011. There is speculation that the Super Bowl will move to the 3rd Sunday in February in 2027, and the Daytona 500 could be moved back a week to the 4th Sunday if that happens.
