This is basically a FloRacing Night In America Series race. When they announced it, the crowd went mild.

The idea sounds fun but I don't know how they can call it that when neither series is actually participating. Are they going to pay tow money for any team on either series with perfect attendance on their respective series so it has some teeth? Would love to see them come together or an event where there's a team based payout on top of the traditional individual payouts. So basically the series that accumulated more points at the end of the night gets a bonus payout to split up amongst the teams however they see fit. Heck, they could even do that for the Flo Nights as a season long cup. Add an extra fun layer to it.

Agreed. At first I was excited but then the 20k to win and neither series actually participating was a let down. Seems like a knock off event. I don’t believe any other teams can compete either..

Once they pay all 20 teams--10 Lucas + 10 WoO--$5k each to show up the $20k on the nose won't matter so much... The bigger questions is will the two series let them use their names or will they have to promote it as Team Beer vs Team Oil?

About ten years or so give or take. WoO and Lucas were actually pretty close to co-sanctioning the Firecracker and Show Me.
