Unfortunately: it’s not going to happen. Both those series you mentioned are big $$ players and need the corporate sponsors. In many cases it’s the industry itself. They really don’t care about the local racers. Late midels have gone corporate and requires huge sums of $$.
The only thing that would possibly change this would be if tracks quit scheduling these series and they were forced to make changes in order to get track scheduling. Again- this will not happen either because many of these tracks depend on the Lucas/WOO races to keep their gates open throughout the year.
Any type racing from slot-cars, go-carts all the way up is controlled by the $$ spent.
