Wonder how long this will last. I'd give it a year at most.

Suitcase Jake of Dirt racing. He wised up and is now racing on someone else’s $$.

A lot of people paid for Madden's equipment in the past. I doubt a lot of his own money was tied up.

I figured his father was a big contributor beings he "sold out" not long after his fathers passing.

I personally would like to see him back at Barry Wright, but only time will tell. If Wells gives Madden the freedom they initially gave Overton when he first drove for them, then the sky is the limit. If they listen to his input and do whats needed it can work, if they just want him to hold the steering wheel and drive something he knows needs fixing and how to do it, he'll walk. Madden doesn't suffer fools very long.(or druggies on the ropes with big egos and poor work ethic)

He does tolerate being pushed around, until someone gets between them then he starts acting tough.

Think about it though. Of all the SLM drivers in the U.S., where driver talent is concerned, Madden still has to be ranked among the top shelf drivers among all those drivers, even at close to 50 years old. Same as with McDowell and eventually, Davenport. If you can wheel a SLM, you can wheel a SLM......just like riding a bike. The age doesn't matter. He will give the Wells entry a good showing.

The bold is why they wanted him over others without his knowledge and experience (ala the other name that kept pooping up for this ride).
