Every state needs a "Right to Race" law like Iowa & North Carolina have

People moving next to a track knowing full well the track is there then proceeded to bitch about it and the noise to the local town / city / village is crap.

Provides that a racing facility or racetrack or any of its appurtenances is not and does not become a nuisance, public or private, within the area of the racing facility or racetrack, in an action brought by a person who purchased or improved property within the area of the racing facility or racetrack or its appurtenances after the racing facility or racetrack initially commenced operation as a racing facility or racetrack.

For the most part, this is just a gesture. The high majority of race tracks closed because the land becomes more valuable to be developed than as a race track. These kind of laws will not stop that unfortunately

no but they stop people from making stupid complaints. A track has a right to operate just like any other sports venue or business and that is the main point of it.
