He was not the only one that did that. You really think other teams don't look at each others tire choices? I have heard comments many times from the top 3 interviews they always know who was on a 20 or 30 and what corners. The fastest teams are always learning and evaluating. You are talking about a sport with the current aero package that a tenth is HUGE.

As much money as the team owners have invested, I’d imagine they want to be at the scales to ensure their opponents aren’t cheating. Because I’ve been at a track or two that has absolutely been either incompetent at enforcing rules, or cheating for their golden boy.

All of the crew guys do stuff like that, u should see them all running around with a flash light checking everybody’s rr before the races start

This has been going on for as long as I can remember, there just wasn't cameras watching the scales before streaming. They do the same thing sitting in staging before the heats.

I miss the days of when they used to rub the compound numbers off of,.or put tape over the numbers on the tires. I remember hearing stories of guys restamping tires to a different compound than what the tire actually was.

I did notice that last night too when Mark rode his pit bike over while Hoffman was getting his droop checked. He glanced to see what tire he was running. I never understood all the secrets in DLM racing. Have you ever watched a national or local sprint car race? The winners car is wide open for all to see, competitors & fans a like can look at every inch of the car sitting in the pits. No big deal. I think your bias toward Mark is what pissed you off last night. Just sayin'.
