Feels like the whole thing and how active they are on social media now is just an attempt to be the next hunt the front. It’s one thing to go out on the road and get experience, but I mean he’s 50, and been racing for 30 years just weird

Never had the means to race on the road the first 20 years. Branched out regionally maybe ten years ago.

. Hopefully the car is not bent. He took a couple hard licks last night.
The biggest problem Freddie is gonna have is the pace of the national guys and being balanced for 50+ laps most nights. People wanna talk about this guy or that guy but the national guys are on the gas hard every lap compared to a regional guy and they pounce at every opportunity. It's Somthing that's very hard to see when their not their. You watch a good regional battle and it seems like theirs no possible way they could go any faster but the national guys do and then they capitalize on every little bobble that you might not even notice normally. Freddie is good in the slick when you gotta slow down problem is the national guys dont slow down. Freddie knows all of this and hopefully he can step the pace up and make some shows and have some fun this season. I hope he can stay with it

Chasing your dream is one thing, just don’t agree with the gofundme motorsports program they run. Underfunded yes. But I don’t care who you are, Hauling two brand new cars with fresh equipment in two trucks to Florida takes money. But they’ll want all the attention for being broke. Same old story, they’re the only people in the history of racing that weren’t as rich as the people they race against

You sound like you would not like any decision he makes. Most all drivers/ teams require outside funding, hence all the names on the cars.

Before you say it is advertising, do you feel Nutrien Ag sold enough extra product to cover there "donation" to Lance Landers motorsports? Do you think Big River Steel is selling enough extra steel to cover the cost of "advertising" on racecars? Do you think the trucking companies are getting enough extra work to cover sponsoring cars? What "advertising" benefits do grain farmers get when sponsoring?

While I am grateful for the money that sponsors drop towards late model racing, I'll give that a no, no, and another no. All these big sponsors are doing is writing it off for advertising purposes at the end of the year. Their is also a close relationship with someone in the late model world as well, or they just love the sport that much. No average fan is spending money or doing business with Nutrien Ag or Big River Steel.

Brandon Overton just might sell some Budweiser beer tho.

Maybe I'm wrong. I don't remember Freddie saying much about being broke? Tyler has several times no doubt. It seems like Freddie has fun with everything. I can get behind that.

                        Good luck to him.

I agree, I'm glad they do it also. It was weird seeing one family being called out for the "go fund me programs" when most racers rely on outside money to compete.

                              I don’t think there’s ever been a history. Just stating it’s interesting.
