    Ethan Dotson

Has Ethan Dotson switched to Lucas/Flo from WoO or is he just All Tech for Thursday race before the WoO races on Friday and Saturday? He was at All Tech for practice night.

He is at Hendry Co. per picture on WoO Facebook page. But he did lose a motor at All-Tech practice last night unfortunately.

It was probably about seat time against high level opponents.

Maybe I'm wrong, I don't remember these many engines going sour this early in the year before now? Covid was a rough year on engines. I don't remember it starting off this bad though. It's not just one builder either. It seems they all have had one go up in smoke.

Probably like everything else in this country. Can’t find good parts A few years ago a regional racer I know was breaking valve springs and he said his engine builder told him that there was only one or two people that actually made them. I know last year clements had a bad batch of valve guides.

I've noticed what looked like a lot of smoke pistons on the colder nights, and thought the same thing. Gustins is about the only one that I can think of that actually grenaded. I don't know what happened to Cody Overtons first two though. Either way, it's expensive.

Parts consistency is terrible these days, even from the high end manufacturers (although high end stuff comes out of the same factory as the cheap junk).
