Dont know if anyone noticed but entries for all classes are being accepted for these races. So far the Modifieds entries have been reached for the DTWC at 84. The Hillbilly has 46 and only 1 Lucas driver has entered the Hillbilly that being Devin Moran. Yet around 22 have entered the DTWC. Most of the Hillbilly entries are Crate cars. With Eldora running that night and now paying big money I would expect most to go there. The Baltes will have split fields again and pay $5,000 to win and $600 to start and non qualifiers will get $200 and entries are just pit pass money of $40 what Eldora is saying.

Nothing wrong with wanting traditions yo carry on. I recall flyers in my window at eldora about the hillbilly on Sunday or Monday night. Eldora bales shouldn't rib big payday for others. Traditions are what make crown jewels, not payouts! World hasn't always been highest paying event

You don’t need big name drivers to make a good race. There are plenty of stout regions shoes that will put on a show.

Amen on that! Out this way in IL and IN, give me the MARS and Northern All Star Late Model Series'. These regional guys race hard for decent money, race in their areas and not the same winners all the time.Originally posted by Pennsboro32 View PostYou don’t need big name drivers to make a good race. This is for the DTWC race. I copied from the track website. I’m not referring to the Hillbilly.
Here is the Hillbilly entity list.

i agree. i used to go on weekend trips to some where i had never been just to see a $5000 show. usually turned out to be a really go show. the problem with the hillbilly is someone like moran, pierce, erb, or whoever in that class will show up and probably dominate. still a good show for second, but it's more fun to watch them race for first.Originally posted by Pennsboro32 View PostYou don’t need big name drivers to make a good race.
