    Fals, Kankakee, you okay?

Tornadoes touchdown near Pontiac, Fairbury and up through Kankakee. Anyone know if there was any damage or injuries?

The southeast side of Kankakee got hit pretty good and it crossed the state line into Indiana just about 25 minutes south of where I live. Power is out all across the northwest Indiana region. I lost power about 12:00 midnight last night and it came back on about 4:50am this morning.
The areas of Pontiac, IL; Aroma Park (Kankakee), IL; Lake Village, IN; Wheatfield, IN; & west of Knox, IN got hit by the same storm cell that produced a tornado near all 5 towns. The storm got pretty bad last night.

Glad you're ok HDF! Kankakee Speedway received some minor damage and no injuries. Haven't heard about Fals. Pontiac is near there and was hit but haven't seen how bad so, hopefully fals got through it ok.

I'm glad everyone is ok. I was watching several stormchasers following that horrible weather. I knew the Kankakee tornado had to be VERY close to the speedway.

I saw pics of what possibly might be a United States record for the largest hailstone in addition to all the horrible tornado damage.

Prayers for everyone affected by the storms.

Thanks for reporting in HDF. Glad your property and family are ok. We appreciate all you do to make 4M and Indiana Open Wheel enjoyable for race fans. Prayers for all the affected families. It's beyond sad to see the destruction from this storm and tornado.
