Pros and cons of each one. Have the option to run either just wondering about the tendencies of each tire. Been running 1350's and having to change to the newer compounds. Thanks
Hoosier 3 VS American Racer Pro 3

Hoosier 3 would be my pick unless the track is extremely hard or abrasive. Sidewalls are a bit different but have tested both and unless you need the harder tire (American Racer 3) the Hoosier will be better; too bad as I think by price American Racer is quite a bit cheaper.

Cant speak to the difference between those two compounds but i can tell you if you run ar do not run the same pressures you would run in the hoosier specificaly on the rf. the ar requires more. We've had quite a few rf failures on corner entrty happen in this area. Worst possible place to lose a tire. Ar said the failures were from low pressure.

He is absolutely correct on the pressure, go up a couple of pounds in the rf!Originally posted by Jking24 View PostCant speak to the difference between those two compounds but i can tell you if you run ar do not run the same pressures you would run in the hoosier specificaly on the rf. the ar requires more.
