Unfortunately, we will not be making the trip to Magnolia Motor Speedway with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series this weekend. It’s been a dream come true to race with them over the last year and I want the thank everyone from World Racing Group and DIRTVision. I also want to thank all of our great fans, sponsors, my team and family for their support. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity I’ve had over the last year.

But with rising costs within the sport, specifically those of a full national tour, it is no longer a sustainable path for our team to be competitive. We have decided to change course and run an open schedule for the remainder of the season, focusing on events that make sense for our team while still competing at a high level. We are looking forward to going to many of our favorite events throughout the year and visiting some of our favorite tracks and fans along the way!

We will have more details on our 2026 schedule soon - lots of fun things coming.

With fuel prices raising exponentially, that is a wise decision.

Not too surprising, used seven provisionals in the first ten races and buried too deep in points to get any guaranteed money. Running like crap factors into this decision as well.

DoD posted that earnings deal from the top 10 earners in florida and the top 10 wasnt even profitable and that was before the huge jump in diesel that will trickle to everything else shortly. He wont be the last

Been several drivers over the years that won’t run Florida because of cost. But there are a lot of good money shows in the Midwest.

Can expect more of this considering the rising fuel prices alone. We're in California which makes it about $2 per gallon higher than anywhere else in the country (our "special" gas/diesel.} Add in race gas,110, at $16+ per gallon and I don't see how most Saturday night racers can do it. Our 496 big block gas hauler gets a choking 8 MPG and running for our usual $1K to win is making us take a hard look at 4-800 mile hauls very many weekends. Add in high pit prices, motels and restaurant tabs and racing sometimes just ain't as much fun as it used to be.

He can probably make more money running mods around his area, instead of chasing the outlaws around. It seems he has good backing, just lacking some serious experience. I was surprised when it was announced he was coming back again honestly.

With gas prices sky rocketing, unfortunately it will probably negatively impact overall car counts and crowds this summer and this is just the very start of it. It’ll take another couple months before we really see heavier impacts. Thanks to Trump and Israel. No many pass times that rely on fuels as heavily as our sport.

Going to the "Speed Weeks" events has never been profitable for any racer unless you clean house and win a ton of races w/o breaking anything. Its always been more of a represent the sponsors and glad handing deal, not a trip to make money.

thats not my point, with these rigs getting less than $1/mile with fuel where it is and no end in sight its gonna put a noticeable strain on races and tracks this year
