You do realize that a race track is a business? To remain open a business must make money... IMHO, just be glad a new track opened, plenty have closed in recent years and there is no shortage of competition for the entertainment dollar these days.

That's correct you do need to make money but running 10 classes want do it you can't keep people there all night and expect them to come back one of the best tracks in the country only runs 2 -3 classes

The only thing that could be considered new is Golden Mountain speedway in Sparta, Tn and I think this is the 2nd or 3rd year it’s been open.

You are correct. I will only watch highlights of the Super Late Models in cases like that and that is even when I am sitting at home. I wouldn't even think about going to sit at a race track with that many classes . Plus if they don't run the top class 1st or 2nd in the feature running order, that is another red flag on me going to them live. I don't feel like sitting through hornets, street stocks, crown vic's, etc.. Let those classes run last so I can hit the road right after the Super Late Models.

2nd year for golden mountain they only have 4 races scheduled first one is may they run 5 classes

Went to a show at Golden Mountain last year, really liked the place. Big for a Tn track, but they ran an efficient show and thought everything went well. Hope to get back this year.
