It's a shame that whenever he does go into the NASCAR Hall of Fame he won't be alive to enjoy the moment. -

Not just a great great hall of fame dirt late model racer. Larry Moore was a great all around race car driver. He also drove pavement late models, the big iron stock cars of USAC and ARCA (with wins), and had registered starts in USAC Silver Crown and sprint cars. He was one of the best drivers of his day, or almost any day.Political correctness,...is the inability to speak the truth about the obvious.Comment

Watched him beat purvis for a Sunday afternoon world 100 back in like 83 or 84, was my 1st time ever at eldora. They were class of field and purviis ran 2nd ways back. Moore lapped i think to top 8 or something crazy. Was aww struck by moment but truthfully not that entertaining of race as recall.
