Bronson had a 4th and a 5th in the A mains at ELDORA Friday and Saturday with Burroughs running the wrenches. "Bout the best Bronson has shown all season so...

Thoughts after the last 2 weeks?

              He won.

I still say he’s one of the few guys that calls his own shots “tuning” wise.

Dennis Erb would be one of the few too.

Did I answer the point you were after?

Example IMHO, Hudson would be lost if he didn't have someone turning the wrenches on his car.

Did RTJ ever get slow? Maybe I missed something.

Considering he won 1 late model feature in March, 2 in May, 1 (group feature) in June, 1 in July, 2 in August (1 was a group feature).....Changed Crew Chiefs.....Then finished the season winning 4 straight.

Yes he was slow and inconsistent thru most of the year. Maybe it was Burroughs leadership, maybe it's pure timing of it all, but like Bobby he had inconsistent stretches this year.

I don’t know about using the word slow. But I get what you are saying —- it's not like he fell off of the map like some do or have in the past. My opinion is he was still competitive. B-Shep was inconsistent too, for what it’s worth. All good, and thanks for the reply.

Streaky at minimum is a better choice of words? I think we all expect top tier drivers to WIN every time out, and that just isn't realistic in my opinion.

RTJ - 34 podium appearances. Slow?
                          Inconsistent yes.
