Although I still think the season is too long, and wish Volusia would drop The Sunshine Nationals and have the Wild West Shootout take those dates at the end of January to give the teams, drivers and the fans a true off season break, good to see The Joiners rewarded for all their hard work in renovating Southern Raceway.

I agree on the Sunshine Nationals. But one thing I noticed this year is most teams just stayed in Florida and waited for the next round of Volusia races. At least now, they'll have races to go to. But it also creates a greater divide between each series' drivers racing in the other series. Quite a few Lucas drivers will race Volusia the second time. There won't be much crossover past that.
