Disaster seems to be little harsh describing the race and finish. Bet anyone there didn't deem this finish a disaster.

It took forever to clear the big one. They kept having caution after caution. If they were sport mods, everyone would have left and they would have reached the time limit. After all of that, two guys with bent up race cars jockeyed with each other ahead of a kid with a broken arm. It was an exciting finish, but was it actually any better of a finish than the compact race at Mansfield?

Seeing the entire grandstands stand and cheer their hometown boy on to win over one of the sports greatest current drivers more than made up for everything beforehand for me but to each their own.

The last two North/South 100 finishes have been great in my opinion!

everyone is (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ting on you but you're right. the crowd made that race. if the same thing happened at Wheatland half of you would have turned the tv off and went to bed.

Florence and Fairbury seem to be the only two tracks that can produce exciting races most of the time. I think the crowd just made it that much better.

It's the best race I have seen in person since the 06 world. It may not have been as entertaining on flo, but there was plenty of passing. I was right in the middle of the frey when they slinging radiators and beating cars back straight.

The cautions were awful. There were times you could watch the crew guys motion for their guy to slow when they were about to a lap down. That (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) needs to stop.

of course it took a while to clear the big one. You had cars on top of cars. Did you want them to rip cars off each other to get it cleared faster. This is really a stupid complaint.

The facts are the show took forever. Ideally, they wouldn't have wadded them all up. The problem is 80% what happened before the cleanup started. The point is it was far from a great show. Sometimes that's avoidable, sometimes it isn't.

1 question: were you there at Florence or watching from your recliner?
